Mena has been an active and influential leader at Georgia Tech, with a primary focus on creating supportive spaces for students. His leadership roles have spanned various organizations, including Connect (a First-Year Leadership Organization). After stepping into the executive advisor role for Connect, Mena navigated operations, supporting fellow leaders, and ensuring the organization continued to grow and serve students effectively. His ability to manage new leadership dynamics and ensure the organization’s continued growth was pivotal. Mena’s experience in this role highlighted his strength in strategic decision-making and his commitment to empowering others, allowing the organization to thrive during a challenging time.
Mena has also demonstrated his dedication to the Georgia Tech community through his involvement in the Student Center Programs Council (SCPC). Serving as both summer chair and marketing coordinator, he played a key role in organizing and promoting events that brought students together and boosted school spirit.
