Nathan has made a significant impact on campus through his leadership, leaving a lasting legacy across multiple organizations. As the founder and senior executive president of the Wrestling Club at Georgia Tech, Nathan played a key role in reviving the sport on campus after a six-year absence. His leadership was pivotal in establishing the club as a competitive presence, creating practice schedules, organizing competitions, and securing sponsors. Nathan’s most memorable leadership moment came when the Wrestling Club hosted and competed in its first match in Fall 2024. His careful planning and organization ensured the event ran smoothly, resulting in a decisive 48-11 win and renewed excitement for the sport among team members and spectators. His dedication to building the club from the ground up demonstrates his commitment to Georgia Tech’s motto of Progress and Service.
Beyond wrestling, Nathan has also made a meaningful contribution to the Residence Hall Association (RHA). As director of Development, he focused on strengthening the organization by enhancing training programs, increasing social events, and improving communication through technology. His efforts helped reestablish constitutional committees within the RHA, providing more opportunities for residents to engage and contribute to large-scale campus events. Nathan’s ability to listen to feedback and adapt training sessions, such as incorporating a keynote speaker and an alumni panel, has created a more supportive and dynamic community for Hall Council Officers and residents alike. His leadership has not only improved the structure of the RHA but also fostered a stronger sense of connection within the campus housing community.
Nathan’s involvement with Pi Tau Sigma, the national mechanical engineering honor society, further reflects his dedication to service and leadership. As vice president of Membership, he guided new initiates by organizing corporate events and encouraging students to apply their engineering skills in innovative ways. Now serving as treasurer, Nathan manages the organization’s finances, ensuring the society remains financially stable and well-positioned to support its members. Through his work with Pi Tau Sigma, Nathan has helped fellow mechanical engineers develop professionally and understand how their careers can be a form of service to others. Nathan’s leadership across these organizations illustrates his unwavering commitment to progress and his desire to leave a positive and lasting impact on Georgia Tech’s campus community.
