David Jernigan from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is an Environmental Engineering student. David served as Drum Major of the Georgia Tech Yellowjacket Marching Band and hopes to be remembered as someone who showed great resilience amid challenges. He learned during his time at Tech that just because something gets hard doesn't mean you have to quit. When people find that their plan has not turned out exactly how they envisioned, he hopes he can be an encouragement to others to keep trying. David is also a brother of Kappa Kappa Psi Iota Honorary Band Service Fraternity.
