When Emily started her Ph.D. program, she quickly got involved with the Georgia Tech chapter of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (GT-HFES). Now, as the president, she has helped to foster connections between undergraduate and graduate students interested in researching and designing technology that improves the human experience. 

I am so grateful that I can use my platform at Georgia Tech to embody the mission of progress and service, grow the GT-HFES chapter, and connect with students passionate about designing technology for human use.
