As the co-design lead and conference chair for the Steel Bridge Team, Gabriel works on the design of a 23-foot steel bridge that can hold over 2500 pounds. This year, he led a group of 8 students to develop different concepts of the bridge design and engineered the various components of the bridge. 

Being involved in student orgs has allowed me to make some of my closest friends, grow in my collaborative and leadership skills, and make valuable industry connections that have helped me get internships, research, and countless other opportunities.
