Jason has exemplified Georgia Tech's motto of Progress and Service through his leadership in the Chinese Student Association (CSA) and his dedication to creating inclusive spaces on campus. Serving as the co-president of CSA, Jason has been instrumental in expanding the organization's reach and impact. His leadership has helped CSA grow from 200 members post-pandemic to more than 1,000 active participants, making it one of the largest cultural organizations on campus. By implementing a structured approach to securing sponsorships, Jason raised more than $30,000, marking the largest funding total in CSA’s history. His efforts also resulted in the launch of the CSA Foundation, which aims to provide alumni engagement, financial support for students, and long-term sponsorships to ensure CSA’s continued success.

One of Jason's most memorable leadership moments came during the planning and execution of CSA's inaugural Starry Night Market. This large-scale event, which serves as a vibrant celebration of Chinese culture, attracted more than 1,000 attendees and showcased student performances, food vendors, and cultural experiences. Jason's ability to lead his team through the complexities of planning—from vendor coordination to volunteer management—demonstrated the power of teamwork and purpose-driven leadership. The event not only bridged cultural gaps on campus but also created a platform for students of all backgrounds to come together and appreciate Chinese cultural traditions. Building on its success, the Starry Night Market has continued to grow, drawing more sponsors and expanding its reach, further cementing Jason's legacy of enhancing Georgia Tech's cultural landscape.

Beyond his work with CSA, Jason has contributed to the broader community through his involvement with 180 Degrees Consulting, where he has helped local nonprofits optimize their operations. His work on CRM platform audits and donor outreach strategies resulted in a 14% increase in crowdfunding success for one nonprofit. Through his involvement with CSA and his work in consulting, Jason has demonstrated how to make meaningful progress through service, applying his leadership skills to drive tangible improvements both on campus and in the surrounding Atlanta community.
