Kiran Kapileshwari from Winston-Salem, North Carolina is a Mechanical Engineering student. Kiran has been involved in Outdoor Recreation @ Georgia Tech and hopes his student leadership at Georgia Tech leaves a lasting legacy of opportunity, impact, and empowerment for future students. His working bringing students into meaningful decision-making processes, promoting sustainability, equity, and civic engagement has laid the groundwork for future students to continue shaping campus initiatives and policies in ways that advance Georgia Tech’s mission. Kiran is also involved with the Kendada Buiding Fellow program, Students Organizating for Sustainability, ASME, and the Yellow Jacket Flying Club.
