As the president of the American Nuclear Society (ANS) student chapter, Natalie leads a highly active organization that is dedicated to promoting the field of nuclear engineering and related disciplines with a specific focus on empowering the next generation. She oversees the chapter's various outreach efforts, which include biannual nuclear merit badge workshops for local Boy and Girl Scouts troops as well as regular visits to Atlanta-area schools to teach students about nuclear science and technology.

Despite [my] successes, I am always looking for ways to improve and to make a positive impact on the broader nuclear engineering community.
