Sophia serves as the president of the Persian American Resource Society (PARS), which aims to provide support and resources for the Persian, Persian American, and broader GT community. While actively organizing events to spread Persian culture, she also advocates through an initiative to reinstate the Persian language program, which was taught at Tech for 11 years and funded by the community.

Through my time in leadership roles, I have been able to become more comfortable as a public speaker and leader who can encourage those around me.
