As a research assistant in the School of Economics, Tehreem delves into the intersection of health and policy, focusing on medical residency funding and its impact on rural healthcare access. Recognizing the importance of accessibility in academia, she co-organized Georgia Tech’s inaugural Summer College Research Internship, offering underrepresented students a chance to engage in scientific research. Her global perspective also led to the founding of Georgia Tech’s first Global Health Club, aimed at bridging theoretical knowledge with practical problem-solving skills.
