As the event chair for the Woodruff School Graduate Women (WSGW), Yipin cultivates a stronger community for graduate women in the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering. She has worked to establish mentorship with female faculty, panel discussions with invited female faculty and alumna working in academia and industry, and workshops to help improve academic writing and presentation skills.

I believe that the students who are now gaining through our organization will later help the younger generations, and I would love to start such an inheritance, starting with myself.
