What is Officer Onboarding?
The Spring 2024 Officer Onboarding training curriculum is designed to provide RSOs with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully register their organizations and transition their officer leadership. This semester, the training will be offered in a hybrid format. We will be both hosting in-person sessions and a flexible webinar format that your officers are able to complete on their own time.
While you can watch the training video at any time, it will be most helpful to watch it or attend a training session BEFORE you submit the Annual Registration form. Part of the training will teach you how to properly submit all Annual Registration documentation.
After you watch the Mandatory Training video or attend an in-person session, you will receive a link to complete a training quiz and feedback form. Once you submit a completed form, your progress will be updated in the tracking sheet within 1-2 business days.

How do I receive credit for the Officer Onboarding Training?
The Officer Onboarding Training is required for all incoming Senior Executive Officers (President) and Finance Officers (Treasurer). The Officer Onboarding Training provides incoming leaders the opportunity to learn about institute policies, resources, and processes that they will utilize and participate in throughout their time as an officer.
In summary: To receive credit, both required incoming officers will need to watch or attend the training and complete the training quiz.
Note: Outgoing officers cannot attend this training for the completion of this requirement. If your organization has not yet elected your incoming Senior Executive Officer and Finance Officer, you must wait until elections are complete to begin this requirement.
