A group of GT students at the student organization fair.

All Registered Student Organizations must have 2 distinct elected student officers

👤
Senior Executive Officer
The Senior Executive Officer (typically the President) is the primary student contact for the registered student organization and the "external spokesperson" of the group. They regularly interact with other student organizations and Institute officials, serving as the liaison between the organization, advisor, and other contacts.
💰
Finance Officer
The Finance Officer (Treasurer) manages the organization's financial matters. They keep officers and members informed about financial activities, handle budgeting, and are responsible for collecting dues. This officer ensures the organization maintains financial accountability.
Note: It is the expectation that all officer positions within your RSO are updated in your Engage portal with the correct information. Update your officer positions by using the Roster tool in your organization's portal. Learn more about how the Roster tool is used as a component of the Annual Registration on the Updating Your Roster page.

What is Required of Officers During Annual Registration?

During Annual Registration, the incoming Senior Executive Officer and Finance Officer are expected to complete several requirements. Outgoing officers cannot complete re-registration.

How the Incoming President Completes Annual Registration

Who can complete the Annual Registration form?

Only the incoming (aka newly elected) President can complete the Annual Registration form. Outgoing Officers are responsible for adding the incoming Officers to their Engage roster – the incoming President will only be able to access the Annual Registration form after they have been added as the new President to the Engage roster.

Need help updating your officers? Check out this resource. If your previous officers are gone and you cannot access your organization's Roster, contact the Center for Student Engagement (engage@gatech.edu) for further assistance.

Accessing the Annual Registration Form

To access your Annual Registration form:

  1. Log-in to Engage
  2. In the left-hand toolbar, hover over your organization's name until the gear appears
  3. Click the gear and select Manage Home
  4. Finally, select the blue "Re-Register my Organization" button
Please Note: Organizations that have already turned in the form will not have the re-registration button appear.

Important: Use Official GT Email Addresses

When completing the Annual Registration form, you will be asked to update your roster, invite new members/officers, and remove old ones.

You MUST use original Georgia Tech email addresses and not aliases. For example, use gburdell3@gatech.edu and NOT georgeburdell@gatech.edu or georgeburdell@gmail.com.

Important: Engage does not recognize alias addresses and they will appear as unrecognized users. Our team will deny and send back any rosters that have unrecognized users. If denied for this reason, you will need to update your roster with the appropriate username and re-submit your AR form.
